Do ISPs REALLY Need To Limit Your Internet Usage?
Here’s an interesting roundtable discussion on bandwidth caps. Are caps really necessary? The TWiT network’s Tom Merritt put together a panel of broadband experts consisting of Dane Jasper, CEO of Sonic.net a California based ISP, Christopher Mitchell, Director of the Institute For Local Self-Reliance, Reid Fishler, Director of Hurricane Electric, an internet backbone provider, and Benoit Felton, CEO of Diffraction Analysis and global telecom analyst to answer that question. The conversation can be a bit technical at times. But if you’re a cord-cutter or considering it, limits on data usage set by ISPs could affect your experience. So it’s worth checking out.
