Netflix Drops A&E And History Channel Shows
Well if you’re looking to curl up with a few episodes of “Pawn Stars” or “American Pickers” on Netflix this weekend, you better make other plans. According to Variety, “At least 40 series and miniseries from A+E Networks including ratings hits like “Storage Wars” vanished from Netflix on Friday.” Apparently negotiations between Netflix and A&E Networks broke down leaving Netflix customers without programs like “Ice Road Truckers,” “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” “Gene Simmons: Family Jewels,” “Hoarders,” and “Intervention.” However, some A&E and History Channel (part of A&E Networks) shows are still available.
Variety also reports that National Geographic shows such as “Border Wars,” “DogTown,” and “Taboo” will soon be dropped from Netflix as well.
