Roku Adds One-Stop Searching To Its Devices
Roku added a new one- stop search feature to its Roku 2 line and Roku Streaming Stick devices. According to Roku, viewers can now search “movies, TV shows, actors and directors across Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Crackle, VUDU and HBO GO.” To see how the new search feature works, take a look at the video below.
Roku says the search update will be pushed out automatically within the next couple weeks. But if you want it now, Roku tells viewers to follow these steps: ”Settings > Software update > Check now on your Roku player to update your software to version 4.8 352x.” Once your Roku is updated, click here, log into your account, and add the Roku Search channel.
